These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of ivyroadmap.org (the “Site”), operated by the Ivy League Roadmap (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What we do
The Ivy League Roadmap provides college admissions advising and related educational content, built on the first-principles approach described in the book The Ivy League Roadmap by Andreas Stamatakis. The Site describes that approach and hosts the application to work with us.
No guarantee of admission
Admissions decisions are made by colleges and universities, not by us. While we are proud of our students’ results, past outcomes shown on the Site — including acceptances, testimonials, and student stories — are illustrative of what earlier families achieved and are not a promise or guarantee that any student will be admitted to any particular school, receive any scholarship, or achieve any particular outcome. Every student’s situation is different.
No affiliation with any university
We are an independent advising service. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any college or university, the Ivy League, or the Council of Ivy League Presidents. School names and marks that appear on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe where students have been admitted or intend to apply.
Applying to work with us
We work with a limited number of families each year, and submitting the application on our Apply page is a request to be considered — it does not create an advising engagement, reserve a spot, or obligate either of us. If we offer to work together, the engagement itself (scope, fees, and terms) is agreed separately.
When you submit an application, you confirm that:
- The information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge;
- You are the student’s parent or legal guardian, or an adult student applying for yourself, or you are completing it with your parent or guardian’s knowledge and consent;
- You have read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the information in your application.
We may accept or decline any application at our discretion, and we may close applications when our capacity for the year is reached.
Educational information only
Content on the Site — including articles, videos, FAQs, and descriptions of our process — is general educational information. It is not legal, financial, tax, or medical advice, and it is not advice about your specific situation unless we are engaged to advise you.
Our content
The Site and its content — text, design, graphics, photographs, video, and the Ivy League Roadmap name and logo — are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the Site freely. You may not copy, republish, scrape, or use our content or branding for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent applications;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its admin area, or the data of other applicants;
- Interfere with the Site’s operation, including by scraping, flooding, or introducing malicious code.
Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites and services, such as Amazon and our social media profiles, and embeds video from YouTube. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Terms applying to an actual advising engagement are set out in that engagement’s own agreement.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, will always be posted on this page, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
